I think this is why some of the pro-palestinian takes that are phrased like reasonable arguments but aren't make me so angry. The ones that don't recognize moral quandries, that pretend to be making a rational argument about who the bad guys are (or even just that we don't know who the bad guys are) without actually dealing with any of the hard problems, piss me off. I find it annoying when people do it when arguing about Breaking Bad. It's so much worse when it's about real people dying right now (especially when everyone around me IRL keeps having to go to the funerals).
I’m the States it is especially bad. I’m rare in having had to repeatedly make shit choices. You can’t find any problem where someone isn’t ready to apply cinematic logic.
It’s like if you had a really hard math problem no one had ever solved and then one day someone came in after watching “Good Will Hunting” and just solved a whole different and simpler problem and then wanted accolades.
