Peter Theil? No man, just no. Have you read Whitney Webb and seen how and who Theil is connected to? Are you into the ‘altruistic’ stuff, like SBF?

I am not familiar with her reporting on him. Is there something out there that’s particularly heinous? There are a couple of his ideas that I find pretty repellant (post-human stuff) but I also believe that he sincerely believes that they are good and also good for everyone. I’m more familiar with him than I am with Yarvin and my feeling overall about people in general is that they can’t continue to lie for three continuous hours, which is why I like podcasts. I do like that he’s pro-human, even when it dips into post-human, and also that he’d like to see us advance in the world of atoms. My feeling is that if he’s friends with Mike Solana he can’t be that bad.

I’m not into effective altruism except maybe 1) I think if you give charity away you should probably actually check to see if it works and also probably not spend the whole budget on having dinners for rich people 2) it’s probably a good idea to think about people who need help and help them. After that it starts to degrade for me because it’s like the people involved start to forget they are people first and believers of an ideology second, although I really like Scott Alexander at the moment. I think it becomes easy to care about people theoretically rather than the people who are right there in front of you. For instance, I feel compelled to help people who need mentorship to promote because I can see myself in that exact same situation and it just didn’t even seem possible to have a better life and I just get overwhelming satisfaction from seeing someone reach a new level in their lives. On the other hand, there are things that are bigger than one person can do for another directly, and that those things still have to get done, so I do cede it’s a balancing game. If you’ve ever read the Witch Books by Terry Pratchett, I try to have the mindset of Granny Weatherwax.

Hi - sorry, I was busy with work, thankfully. Peter Theil is, from what I understand, behind the launch of Facebook. Not that that is bad, but he’s moved on. He is apparently part of the apparatus that is Globalism. He’s more a background guy, but from what I read, a bad actor and a funder of suspicious organizations, and yes, in that respect, heinous. But the corporations love him, so it’s not so easy probably to find the ties to ugly. You are right, I believe he is connected as well to the trans-humanist movement. Which is eugenicism modernized. I don’t know of Mike Solana. Whitney Webb’s investigative reporting is what mostly gave me this info. She is the real deal.

Any podcast you’d recommendI listen to?

Mike Solana is a guy on here with a substack called Pirate Wires and is generally just very positive about humanity and the future. He works for Peter Thiel, or did. I’m not sure exactly how that works out but I think it’s one of those things where what someone says and what it means in practice are quite different. Like globalism… I hate this but I get it. Once someone starts doing that, you can either do it too or go broke. I hate it but it is what it is.

Absolutely. It’s called “Unlimited Hangout” and is available on all the podcast distribution points. There’s also the Solari Report (full website) run by Cathrine Austin Fitts team. Excellent material.

We all must be vigilant and watching for wolves in sheeps clothing. I’ll check out Mike.
