Would you take suggestions for Trusted People? And: if you haven’t already done so, read Stephen Fry’s most recent talk/essay on AI. It’s brilliant on its own, and he might be VERY interested in your idea.

Please make any suggestions! Huge fan of Fry and have read the essay. He might be a bit high profile to reach, though.

Try anyway. He has a mind that is curious and receptive. I tagged him, but I am certainly not high on the Substack food chain!

An important comment on the footnote: since you seem to have an in with the substance people can you please ask them to fix the issue where footnotes aren't clickable in the app.

I don’t have an in other than being gregarious on the internet. If you mention him in a Note I’m sure Mills would take a look.

I don't know anything yet but as this builds I was in a cohort of start ups backed by AP and NYT. Maybe some tangential folks would take a look? Cheers

Trusted info, democratically via one's tribe - I think I get the general idea, but the logistics have lost me. That's ok - I am fuzzy-headed with a sinus malaise today, & anyway, I don't really need to grasp the mechanics to approve.

I already have an array of information sources I trust, & a good BS detector, but think your assemblage will be very useful. It seems every generation or so there is another battle for the hearts & minds (or is it just ongoing?), exacerbated, these days, by lack of critical thinking helped by crumbling educational systems, digital media, AI, & (as Cory Doctorow puts it) "enshitification" of much.

It is good to be reminded that younger people are working on betterment of the world!

I suspect the "Higher Trust Assembly" could be made up of everyone on the Trust Assembly who actually reads the footnotes.

How did you know I'd read the footnote?

I came from ACX, and I liked the essay you wrote about your mystical experience enough to stick around.
