I'm going to call it the Platonic Realm. Why reinvent the wheel? When I first read Plato, like a good modern boy I dismissed it out of hand; now, I find the challenge of dismissing that realm nearly infinite; it feels willful and absurd to deny its "reality."
The but at the end is... Kind of like this worldbuilding idea I had once. I should write it out.
(I don't think I really believe it happens, there's just too much senselessly horrible stuff in the real world to believe in that sort of entity, even adjusting for free will. But I like the concept)
